i cant tell you guys how glad i am to have the saturday of this week, it fells like ive been at work forever, even though its only been like 4 days!!

lets see, this to update about

erm....me and tom broke up!

and im actyually really glad about this , its something we should have done months ago, but yay done now :) ive found a house share to move into on monday (in tonbridge about 5 mins away from work)  though its sucks only a little bit because im going to be away from most of my friends, (the the most important one drives, so thats ok! :P) and i cant wait till i can move in! (and have a porper shower, its going to be out of action for like another 2 weeks back at toms)

the rest of this week has been fun, pub on tuesday with the vs lot where andy won the whole thing for the first time (so kudos to him!!) and jacks house on thursday, where a new player perry came along, which is always nice to see some new faces, however last night i ended staying out over james, and got back home at 7am this morning! so im feelinging it at work atm! (ugh!)

anyway, ives only got about 4 hours to go before im free untill sunday afternoon, so hopefully ill get up to some packing, seeing james, and maybe chuck in some vs games to

(oh btw i now have the coolest cutest thing, in the shape of a turtle which is just awesome!!!)

oh and im sure one of the new guys thats now working for sky used go go to school with me, but i need to check that before i say anything! lol

ok im lying just a little bit, but you dont need to know that

im actually really glad i got the day off tomorow, i hate doing these early shifts, even though it means i can hang out with friends (well friend :P) im always so tired! (not looking forward to this weekend with early starts on both days, and im all on my own on sunday morning! i might see if i can bring a friend along with me :P

tuesday night was awesome fun, twas me dave james and graham in the pub, messing about, and i was trying out my new deck, (based on spiderman) and though its not awesome, i still had a really close games against james playing HoG (i luckily got to him before galactus come out) (for those that dont understand VS ignore what i just said)

i was looking at getting a passport yesterday, and sent off the forms and things, and its bloody £75!!!!! omg i said when i saw the price. well im hoping i get it before august bank hols, when ive got the time off work to actually go do something which would be nice!

oh and another thing, the shower at toms house is now completely broken, and forbiden from use, which sucks arse! (im glad i dyed my hair yesterday, or they would have a go at me using it on the new shower when it turns up.

and hopefully driving next week, (dependent on how much i get paid :P)

well anyways thats updateing for you to read in one go, so untill the next time i can sneak on the pc at work :P

oh yeah and i dyed my hair purpley, but its come put a bit too back, so ive got to get used to having dark hair again! yay, at least its all one colour now lol!

monday was uber fun at work, it was absurldy busy (taking out 250 calls between three people in 3 hours isnt that much fun i can tell you that! (there were 4 differnt problems on the lines, and everyone seemed to want to complain about it!!) but at least it made the day go a bit quicker, and also the money pay day thingy at the end of the week

anyways im having a hissy fit with the computer this afternoon, it just does not want to woerk so i think ill go and read countdown before i go out this evening

i survived work (even though im working 6 weekends in a row! omg whaa?????

and when i was walking home it decided to pelt down, it was like i was having a shower, but outside, with my clothes on and in the cold and windyness of outside.....and no umbrella...and holey shoes with no socks!

i thought it was hillarious tho, i does like the rain i does :D

and im sitting here listening to the new pendulum album (thansk to james for playing it on sat) thinking about where i should go to read my spiderman comics!

for those interested, its customer services for southeastern trains, which is interesting (theres not as many complaints as i expected!! :P) the guys i work with are awesome (shout out to stix! :P) and my bosses arent to bad! oh yeah, im like the knowledge on trains now so if theres anything you need to know im the one to come to :P Also im so awesome ive won myself a camcorder this month, yes you heard me right :P

as for other interesting things in my life.....er.....well.....i stil play vs! (exciting as that is) and not doing to bad! theres a blog that has just been created for all the uk vs players, where we all write stuff about what we play, which you can see HERE (im also one of the writers, so its basically shameless self promotion, i mean your reading this right??) oh yeah and it just so happens im the top lady vs player in the uk but that says a lot about the game, when im 72 out of everyone in vs :P

so apart from that theres not really much to update about, im still in staplehurst with tom (joy)we've recently been doing up the house a bit which is cool, and meaning we actually have space for stuff now. unfortunate thing is that the place is a tip atm (as ol was back down last week) and no ones tidying up!!

well ill leave it like that, cause i dont think anyone reads this anymore! so if you do please comment, or ill stop writing altogether :P

i got a job!

awesomeness!!!!!

well the big day happened on Saturday, and i must say that it was a lot of fun, and i did much better than i thought i was going to do, met some new people, and generally had a good time :)

so the day started off with 8 rounds of swiss, which would cut to the top 8, who would play for the final standing, and ofc, the uber news the top 8 will also recieve an invitation to attend the world champs in ohio, america (obv i dint make it or i would have been uber excited in this post :P) my goal was to at least get in the top half of everyone there, and maybe the top 16 if i was lucky.

game one, i was playing against steve, which i missed out on in playing him in the city champs, today he was playing punisher/marvel knights/MVL deck witha lot of ko effects, and my inhummans doesnt do too well with that, and unfortunaty he had me on turn 5 so not the best of starts

game two, i was paying the guy who supplys the vs cards to graham and the reason why im so poor. unfortunatly his family of four deck failed to give him any cards, and my deck just over ran it, (i hate winning like that because the other person doesnt get a chance and its not a lot of fun)

game three, i was up against amit, which i was dreading as were basicly playing the same deck, but with a few mminor changes. mirror match all the way till turn 6, however by taking a slight risk, i was able to win the match buy 1 point (we were both in the minuses) and it was a great game and the first time i had beaten amit in a constructed deck format!

game four saw me face (i think) Andrew, who was playing avaengers reservist with leaders as well. luckiy as that being the first deck that myself has layed, i pretty know the ins and out of it. and a sneaky play by me, moving ric jones into the visable, and then ht his captain america (who had no defense due to karnaks ability) won me the gam

so we braked half way through, i was really suprised how i was playing out, i was on par with graham, and 10 overall. therewere a few (not many) people with 4 wins, and the rest of the maidstone lot wernt doing as great, ut the picked up in the second half

game five saw me face a hellfire deck, and luckily i hit all of my hidden hate, and a miss play by my opponant (stealing attlian instead of negative zone) really helped me to win that

game six  found me playing against a secert socity deck, and  was one of my favourite  games of the day. i was doing comfortably each turn, however on the last turn he managed to do just enough breakthrough with an extra path of destruction got me. he played -20 myself -26 really good match

game seven found me playing dave, which i wasnt to happy about. i managed to draw good cards, but for the later turns, while he ht every thing he needed, so it was a quick game over by turn fivr

game eight, and the last game of the day found me playing against and old brotherhood deck, which i knew to start with id do bad, as my deck doesnt deal well with rush, and i still havent managed to beat wayne :) a lot of ko effects didnt help and he always was one step ahead

well i was really pleased how i did, and came 21st (one below graham) out of 47, so i managed to achieve what i wanted, and won a t-shirt (its huge, american XL!!) and someeas, aaaand i managed to gt hold of a herals play mat, which im very happy about!

ben did the best out of our maidstone lot, coming 7th, and is able to go to america! (lucky sod!) dave was next with 12th place, then graham and me, witht he rest following behind (also i was the highest placed girl, well out of three and one (holly) was trying to come last!)

well hopefully i should be employed by the end of next week (fingers groosed much!)

however it all depends how monday goes, so ill be sure to letcha all know

and if i do get it, then i might be hanging around tonbridge a bit more than i have been!

as for the rest of my week, not much to really say about, monday night was vs, of which i won (i know! wow!) hoever i only won on tie breaks, as there were a number of people with 3-1's

tuesday was good, dave came over and we had a load of games in preporation for the nationals which are coming up on saturday

in addition to this, weve just found out, those that make it into the top 8 will be invited to the world champs in america!!!!!! exciting i know! but no chance that ill be going lol

todays been pretty dull, just been applying for jobs, tho i got a ring back, which is why im excited, cause i might actually be getting money soon!!

ive got a new toy to play with

its like a pc but uber, and and and its got two moniters and lots of blinky flashy lights!

yeah ok i have no idea why but its well good
